Dry . . . until Sunday
Overnight: High Clouds and Cold Again
Lows: 25-31 | Wind: Light
Friday: Partly Sunny and Milder
Highs: Near 50 | Wind: SE 5-10
This Weekend: Cloudy Mild Saturday Rain Sunday
Temperatures: Mid 50s | Rain: 1 inch rain likely Sunday-Sunday night
The chilly air mass over us now will move to the east soon. Overnight with very dry air still here, the temperatures will once again fall into the 20s in most areas. By Friday and Saturday, a storm from the Midwest will spread cloudiness in D.C. and with southeast winds there could be a few light sprinkles by Saturday. The weather front and storm will be to our west Sunday, so rain will be coming in by Sunday midday and a wet Sunday afternoon and evening are likely (90 percent chance of rain by Sunday evening). The storm looks like it will give many areas 1 inch of needed rain before it moves out late Sunday. Sunshine will be back early next week and no March snows are in sight.
