After a superb St. Patrick’s Day with sunshine and highs in the 60s across the area, we will push for an even warmer one today. The reason for the nice weather was a bubble of high pressure to our south, giving us a mild and gusty at times southwest breeze. Add in a lot of sun and the mercury will soar into the 70s! You will notice a few more clouds late in the day as this cold front slips through.
A few showers, though nothing serious, are possible late tonight/early tomorrow but the models are backing on from prolonged rain threat for Saturday. So morning clouds should quickly break for sun with highs in the upper 50s is a good bet for the start of the weekend. We welcome in spring (Sunday) in fine fashion with partly sunny skies and highs in the mid to upper 50s. Our next storm system will drag a warm front Monday, bringing showers back to the forecast. Have a great weekend.
