An area of high pressure to the south will allow warm air to filter across the mid-Atlantic today. Highs will be well above average for this time of year, jumping into the 70s.
A cold front arrives later this evening bringing a potential for showers overnight and early tomorrow morning, but the latest models are backing off from a prolonged rain threat for Saturday. Morning clouds will quickly break for sun with highs only in the 50s. We welcome in spring (Sunday) in fine fashion with partly sunny skies and highs in the middle to upper 50s.
