Despite ample sun, afternoon highs will be 20 degrees cooler today than yesterday.

Today: Mostly Sunny, Breezy & Cooler

Highs: 62-66 | Wind: NW 10-20

Overnight: Partly Cloudy, Chilly

Lows: 44-50 | Wind: NE 5-10

Tomorrow: Overcast & Cool, Rain Develops

Highs: 50s | Wind: East 8-12

A cold front swept through the area overnight, without any showers or t-storms, bringing an end to our summer-like weather. Today will fairly sunny and pleasant, just a lot cooler. Temperatures will only top off in the mid 60s. Tomorrow the pleasant weather quickly fades as clouds and chilly temperatures return with our next storm pushing in from the west. Rain will develop during the day. That system should head out on Saturday although it will leave a trailing front just north of the area. That’s why it may take some time for the sun to break out on Saturday and why it is possible we see a hit-or-miss t-storm on Easter Sunday. The majority of the weekend, however, looks nice and warm with highs back in the 70s.

Have a great day!
