Severe storms passed through the region early this morning, but with the front east of the area now, much cooler air will filter in overhead for the rest of the day.

This Morning: A Few Showers

Temperatures: 50s | Wind: SW to NW 10-20 m.p.h.

This Afternoon: Clearing, Gusty and Cooler

Highs: Mid to Upper 50s | Wind: NW 20 m.p.h.

Tonight: Mostly Clear, Colder

Lows: 30s | Wind: NW 5-10 m.p.h.

The Tornado Watch has been cancelled and the line of showers and thunderstorms over the Delmarva continues to move east towards the Atlantic Ocean this morning. Through the remainder of the morning, a few scattered showers will be possible with temperatures in the 50s. This afternoon, skies will clear and temperatures will remain in the 50s.

Tonight will be much colder with lows in the 30s under mostly clear skies. Wednesday will feature partly cloudy skies and mild temperatures in the lower 60s. Thursday looks like it will be one of the nicest days of the week with highs in the mid to upper 60s under partly cloudy skies. Showers and storms will again be possible on Friday, though at this point in time it does not appear like they will be severe. Highs should again reach the upper 60s on Friday.

The weekend will bring with it another chance for storms on Saturday with the best chance in the evening hours. Sunday looks pleasant with temperatures back in the upper 70s to lower 80s under partly cloudy skies.
