Highs clouds will build during the overnight hours as temperatures drop into the upper 40s to lower 50s. Although sky conditions will be bright Sunday morning, a weak warm front may bring spotty showers to the mid-Atlantic by afternoon, but precipitation chances will be limited mainly to the mountains. With clouds increasing, highs will be near 70 degrees.
A cold front will approach from the west on Monday. Showers remain in the forecast with the actual frontal system moving across the region on Tuesday. Thunderstorms may develop , some severe. Below average temperatures arrive Wednesday with a gradual warming trend into the upcoming weekend.
