An unstable atmosphere combined with strong winds aloft set the stage for supercell thunderstorms with funnel clouds. Several tornadoes were spotted last night with more possible this morning as a Tornado Watch remains in effect until 8AM this morning. Another round of thunderstorms are pushing into the area from the west all ahead of a strong cold front. That front should clear the area by late afternoon Thursday, allowing the sky to brighten before the sun goes down with temperatures in the mid 70s. Behind the front will come drier and cooler weather Friday with highs in the 60s. The nice weather will continue into the weekend with a rebound in temperatures into the 70s under lots of sun. Be safe and have a good day.
