Unsettled weather will stick around for the remainder of the weekend. Highs will rebound into the lower 80s for Easter Sunday. Above average temperatures are expected for the start of the new week.

Overnight: Partly to Mostly Cloudy

Lows: 58°-64° | Wind: SW 5-10

Sunday: Partly Cloudy, PM Showers and Thundershowers

Highs: 79°-84° | Wind: SW 10-15

Monday: Mostly Sunny and Warm

Highs: near 80° | Wind: S 5-10

Overnight lows will be mild for this time of year as a frontal system stalls just to the north of the D.C. metropolitan area.  Patchy fog may develop during the early morning hours as temperatures fall into the upper 50s to lower to middle 60s. Satellite and radar shows most of the precipitation in Pennsylvania.

Easter Sunday brings highs in the upper 70s to lower 80s. The atmosphere will become more unstable during the afternoon and evening hours giving a better chance for showers and a few thunderstorm cells. While these storms are not expected to become severe, the best chance for formation will be west of D.C. The extended outlook may be found here.
