A soggy stretch of weather for the D.C. region

Keep the umbrella within arms reach over the next few days before things dry out in time for the weekend.

Tuesday: Numerous Showers & Heavy T-Storms

Highs: Around 70 | Wind: E 10-15

Overnight: Early T-Storm; Otherwise Scattered Showers

Lows: Around 60 | Wind: E 5-10

Wednesday: Scattered Showers Likely With Isolated

Highs: Low 70s | Wind: E 5-10

An upper level low will remain nearly stationary over our region today through much of the week. This storm will translate into unsettled weather with a chance of scattered showers and storms each day. The threat of showers and storms will be highest today and tomorrow and then decrease to 30-40% by Thursday and Friday. High pressure should return just in time for the weekend allowing us to dry out and warm to around 80 degrees.
