A quiet but foggy start to your Thursday, with the threat of heavy rains confined to the afternoon.
Today: Patchy AM Fog, Some Sun, Heavy PM Storms
Highs: Mid 70s | Wind: Light NW
Overnight: Lingering Storms, Patchy Fog
Lows: 50s | Wind: Light W
Tomorrow: Partly Cloudy, Few PM Storms
Highs: Mid to Upper 70s | Wind: NW 5-10
The same pesky storm system will begin to move out of the region today, but don’t expect huge changes. After some early morning fog there will be some sunshine but clouds will build in with afternoon highs in the mid 70s. Heavy showers and storms are once again likely, but should be confined to the afternoon and evening hours. By tomorrow partly sunny skies return with just a slight risk of some afternoon storms as highs top out in the upper 70s.
The weekend still looks great with plenty of sunshine and highs into the 80s. Believe it or not there have only been two 80 degree days this entire month of May! Our next system approaches late weekend and an isolated storm possible by late Sunday. The start of next week will bring a more summer-like feel with partly cloudy skies, highs in the 80s and the daily threat for a few afternoon storms. Stay dry and have a great day!
