It’s going to look and feel more like summer across the region for much of this week. The humidity has already jumped up a few notches over the past 24 hours and will increase a bit more this afternoon as a warm front lifts north through the area. Clouds will mix with some sunshine through the late morning and early afternoon before some showers and storms try to develop. There is a slight chance that a few of the storm cells may be severe with the main threats being gusty winds, hail, and heavy downpours. This pattern repeats itself Tuesday through the second half of the week featuring warm and humid days with a daily threat of PM storms.
