The opening day for local pools can't come soon enough!

Today: Scat'd. Clouds, Warm & Sticky

Highs: Near 90 | Wind: S 10-15

Overnight: Couple of Clouds, Muggy

Lows: 66-72 | Wind: S 10-15

Tomorrow: Partly Cloudy, Warm, Scat'd. Storms

Highs: 84-88 | Wind: S 10-15

After a comfortable Wednesday the heat and humidity get cranked up today with temperatures near 90 degrees with added humidity. A lonely western storm is possible but the bulk of the region remains dry. Overnight lows dip into the upper 60s making for a warm night.

The end of the week brings a slightly greater chance for thunderstorms as a cold front drops through. Don’t look for any “cold air” as temperatures slip back just a few degrees. An isolated t-storm Saturday remains the best weekend chance for a storm, although it is slight. Sunday and Memorial Day Monday feature a return to a strong summer-like pattern with high heat and humidity. While the thermometers may read 90 degrees the heat index values (feels like temperature) will push to near the century mark. Have a great day.
