The low has moved slightly to the north, but more showers and storms will continue to be possible through the day.

This Afternoon: Becoming Partly Sunny, Scat'd T-Showers

Highs: Low to Mid 70s | Wind: Variable

Overnight: Mainly Cloudy

Lows: 50s | Wind: Light WSW

Friday: Partly Sunny, PM T-Storms Possible

Highs: Mid 70s | Wind: W 4-8 m.p.h.

Clouds will continue to be the main feature through the lunch hour with a few scattered light showers or sprinkles. Later this afternoon, more sunshine should begin to break through the overcast and high temperatures should reach the low to mid 70s. A few thunderstorms will be possible as well but we will not see the same coverage or intensity as last night. Tonight will remain mainly cloudy with lows in the 50s.

Friday, partly sunny skies along with highs in the mid to upper 70s can be expected. The chance for an isolated storm in the afternoon remains. The start of the weekend Saturday should be beautiful with temperatures around the 80 degree mark under partly cloudy skies. Sunday will see more of the same with highs in the lower 80s under partly cloudy skies. There is a slight chance for a few thunderstorms Sunday evening as the next frontal zone apporaches the region from the west. This front is expected to bring chances for afternoon storms through the middle of next week, but with the position of it to our west, it should also help keep temperatures in the 80s through at least next Thursday.
