Mostly cloudy skies can be expected this afternoon with temperatures in the mid to upper 60s. Numerous showers and thunderstorms have been developing over the mountains today, but the activity should remain mainly to the west. An isolated shower or sprinkle will be possible the remainder of the day. Tonight, showers and an isolated thunderstorm will continue to be possible with lows in the 50s in the suburbs to around 60 in town.
Saturday will be much like today, with highs around the 70 degree mark under mostly cloudy skies. Showers and thunderstorms will be possible as an area of low pressure continues to move towards the region from the west. This low will hang around through the beginning of next week, bringing a chance for showers and storms again on Sunday with the best chance in the afternoon and evening. The chance for rain extends through the middle of next week.
