What a great weekend ahead with temperatures warming into the 80s and finally a day without a chance for storms. Ok, yes, I am getting ahead of myself, I'm not quite walking out the door just yet. Today will be partly sunny and comfortable with highs in the low to mid 70s. This low is still hanging around over Pennsylvania so there will continue to be a chance for a few showers and isolated thunderstorms.
Tonight will be comfortable and clear with lows in the 50s in the suburbs to near 60 degrees downtown. For the weekend, Saturday will be nice with highs around the 80 degree mark under mostly sunny skies. Winds should be light and variable and it should be a perfect day to get outdoors whether you are going to the beaches or even the Preakness Stakes.
Sunday appears like it will be even warmer as a southerly flow pushes a new airmass into the region. High temperatures should reach the mid 80s under partly cloudy skies. There is a chance for afternoon thunderstorms, however, as the next cold front moves towards the region from the west. Enjoy your weekend.
