A couple of reports of hail and a some tree damage near Winchester, VA but for all the watches and warnings that was it.  The line of violent storms that brought the terrible tornado to Joplin, Mo., yesterday is long gone l to the north but warm humid air over us is still the brew for thunderstorms. Tomorrow there is a risk of severe thunderstorms in the afternoon. As we go through the week a typical summer pattern will set up with high pressure over the east and a warm humid southwest flow over us. This pattern is likely (70% percent chance) to continue through the Memorial Day holiday weekend.
