Weekend weather outlook for DC
Today: Increasing Clouds, Stray Showers
Highs: 70-74 | Wind: WNW 5-10
Overnight: Mostly Cloudy, Shower Possible
Lows: 47-53 | Wind: Light Westerly
Tomorrow: Mix Clouds/Sun, Passing Shower
Highs: 70-74 | Wind: NW 5-10
The weather remains active into the weekend, with several disturbances passing by both later today and tomorrow. The end result is that while we start the weekend with lots of sunshine, clouds will increase throughout the day. Much like yesterday we could see a shower pop late-day, but nothing widespread as temperatures top out in the low 70s. Tomorrow another system slides overhead early in the day but appears to quickly push south. So while Mother’s Day features a chance for a shower or two, I believe it will still turn out alright with mixed skies and highs in the low 70s.
A ridge of high pressure will bring sunshine and mild conditions through the first half of next week with highs climbing into the mid and upper 70s. By mid to late week some afternoon storms could fire with a stronger cold front possible by Friday. Have a great weekend!
