Today has featured partly sunny skies and warm temperatures with highs in the low to mid 80s. The humidity has remained across the area with dewpoints in the 60s, making it feel a bit humid at times. Tonight, lows will settle in the 60s in the suburbs to near 70 degrees inside the beltway.
Thursday will be hot and humid with highs around the 90 degree mark. There is a slight chance for a few afternoon thunderstorms with the highest liklihood west in the mountains. Friday, there will be a better chance for showers and storms as a greatly weakened cold front moves into the region from the west. Highs should reach the upper 80s under partly sunny skies.
For the Memorial Day Weekend ahead, temperatures should be hot with highs in the upper 80s to lower 90s Saturday through Monday. There is a slight chance for a few thunderstorms in the afternoon hours Saturday and Sunday, so be sure to check our Doppler Radar for the latest updates.
