Yesterday's cold front helped push in some drier air into the region. Thursday will see more of the same before high heat comes back for the weekend.

Tonight: Mostly Clear, Comfy

Lows: 60s | Wind: N 5 m.p.h.

Thursday: Mostly Sunny, Comfy

Highs: Mid 80s | Wind: NW 5-10 m.p.h.

Friday: A Few Clouds, Warmer

Highs: Upper 80s to Near 90 | Wind: SE 4-8 m.p.h.

Clear skies and comfortable temperatures can be expected this evening into tonight. Lows will fall into the 60s. Thursday will be pleasant with highs in the mid 80s and dew points still in the 50s.

Changes will be likely for the end of the work week and into the weekend with more heat and humidity entering the area. Friday, highs should reach the upper 80s to near 90 degrees under partly cloudy skies. Saturday and Sunday, highs should top the 90 degree mark, settling in the mid 90s each afternoon. Monday, highs will still be hot for Independence Day in the low 90s. A weak frontal boundary will cross into the area Sunday and Monday, bringing with it a slight chance for showers and thunderstorms each afternoon.
