Behind a cold front, humidity should be much more pleasant and temperatures should be a bit cooler. The heat will be back in a big way this weekend.
This Afternoon: Mostly Sunny, Less Humid
Highs: Upper 80s | Wind: NW 10-15 m.p.h.
Overnight: Mostly Clear, Comfortable
Lows: 60s | Wind: N 5 m.p.h.
Thursday: Mostly Sunny, Comfortable
Highs: Mid to Upper 80s | Wind: NW 5-10 m.p.h.
A much more comfortable airmass has moved in behind yesterday's cold front. Highs should reach the mid to upper 80s today under sunny skies. Instead of muggy dew points in the upper 60s to near 70, they should only be in the 50s, making for plenty of comfort.
Tonight will be mostly clear and comfortable with lows in the 60s. Thursday will continue the comfy trend with highs in the mid to upper 80s under sunny skies.
Friday into the weekend, the heat will return. Highs Friday should be around the 90 degree mark under partly cloudy skies. Weekend highs should be even hotter, moving into the mid to upper 90s Saturday, holding in the upper 90s Sunday, and moving back into the mid 90s for Independence Day. It appears there will be some instability back in the area as well making for a chance for isolated thunderstorms each afternoon and evening.
