Comfortable airmass moves into the D.C. area

Dew points have fallen into the 40s and temperatures will top out in the 80s today under mostly sunny skies.

This Afternoon: Mostly Sunny, Breezy

Highs: Mid to Upper 80s | Wind: NW 10-20 m.p.h.

Overnight: Mostly Clear, Cooler

Lows: 50s | Wind: NW 5-10 m.p.h.

Friday: Partly Sunny, Comfortable

Highs: Low 80s | Wind: NW 5-10 m.p.h.

A cooler, drier airmass has settled into the region with temperatures back into the 80s today under mostly sunny skies. Winds will be breezy out of the northwest around 10 to 20 m.p.h. Tonight, lows will be in the 50s under mostly clear skies. Friday will be partly sunny and comfortable with highs in the lower 80s.

The weekend ahead will feature partly cloudy skies on Saturday with highs in the low to mid 80s. Sunday, a weak system will pass through the region bringing a slight chance for a few showers and thunderstorms. Otherwise, conditions will be pleasant with highs in the mid 80s under partly sunny skies.
