The same high pressure center that gave us the beautiful day to day is going to turn on us.
Overnight: Mostly clear and mild
Lows: 60s | Wind: Light
Tomorrow Morning: Mostly sunny
Temperatures: 60s/70s | Wind: West 5-10 mph
Tomorrow Afternoon: Mosty sunny and hot
Highs: near 90 degrees | Wind: West 5-10 mph
Once this ridge of high pressure moves off shore, it will effectively turn into a heat pump. Over the next few days it will start pumping much watrmer and more humid air over the region. We are calling this a "mini" heat wave. High temperatures will be near 90 degrees tomorrow and into the upper 90s on Wednesday and Thursday. On Friday, the mercury will climb into the lower 90s. By the afternoon though, an approaching cold front may be just enough to trigger scattered thunderstorms. Temperatures will drop to more seasonal levels over the weekend.
