Lows: Upper 60s | Wind: Variable 5-10
Wednesday: Mostly Sunny; Less Humid
Highs: Mid 80s | Wind: NW 5-10
Ahead of an approaching cold front we will be trapped in the heat and humidity today with highs pushing to near 90 degrees this afternoon. Pulse scattered shower and storm activity is expected this afternoon with about a 50/50 shot of seeing one of these t-showers in your backyard. It’s possible that some storms may briefly become severe producing strong wind gusts and perhaps even some hail.
The threat of storms diminishes overnight as cooler and drier air follow a cold front that will cross the region. Wednesday and Thursday look beautiful featuring plenty of sunshine along with low humidity and highs in the mid-80s.
The heat and humidity will ramp back up as we round out the work week and head into the first full weekend of Summer. The threat of a couple afternoon thundershowers will also return to the forecast over the Holiday weekend.
