Hot and humid weather continues; strong storms Wed. to Thurs.

The heat and humidity will continue to affect the region over the next couple of days. Storms will become more likely tomorrow through Friday as a cold front approaches.

Overnight: Partly Cloudy, Muggy

Lows: Around 70 | Wind: S 5 m.p.h.

Wednesday: Partly Cloudy, Hot & Humid, PM Storms

Highs: Low 90s | Wind: SE 4-8 m.p.h.

Thursday: Partly Cloudy, Hot & Humid, PM Storms

Highs: Low 90s | Wind: S 5-10 m.p.h.

The heat and humidity is back with temperatures reaching the upper 80s to near 90 degrees this afternoon under partly cloudy skies. Tonight, lows will fall around 70 under partly cloudy skies. Wednesday will feature even warmer temperatures with highs in the lower 90s under partly cloudy skies. Afternoon showers and storms appear likely with some storms capable of producing large hail and damaging winds.

Thursday will see more of the same weather with highs in the lower 90s and another chance for afternoon thunderstorms. Friday, a cold front is expected to pass through the area, bringing the chance for showers and storms with highs around 90 degrees.
