The pattern of heat and humidity is right back with us. Evening thunderstorms continue to rumble across the western and northwestern suburbs. These will gradually die out by 10-11PM. But with hot humid weather ahead and a weakening weather front moving our way the stage is set for another batch of storms Wednesday afternoon and some could approach severe limits. That is 1 inch hail or winds 58 mph or higher. To be on the safe side warnings are often issued when thunderstorms may appear to be close to the limits and with the millions of trees in our region, almost any thunderstorm with wind gusts can cause some local damage.
