One more beautiful day before the heat and humidity returns
This Afternoon: Sunny & Pleasant
Highs: Mid 80s | Wind: NW 5-10 m.p.h.
Overnight: Clear & Comfortable
Lows: 50s to Mid 60s | Wind: N 5 m.p.h.
Friday: Mostly Sunny, Warmer
Highs: Near 90 | Wind: N 4-8 m.p.h.
This perfect weather pattern continues today with highs in the mid to upper 80s under mostly sunny skies. Humidity levels will continue to be low today and tomorrow before southerly winds help move more moisture into the area this weekend. Tonight will be clear and a bit cooler with lows in the 60s around town and in the upper 50s in the suburbs. Friday should be a bit warmer with highs around 90 degrees under mostly sunny skies.
For the all important 4th of July weekend, the heat will be back, starting with highs in the low to mid 90s on Saturday. Sunday should be even warmer ahead of a cold front with highs in the mid to upper 90s under mostly sunny skies. There is a chance for a few thunderstorms Sunday afternoon as that cold front moves through the region.
For the 4th on Monday, temperatures are still expected to be hot with highs around 90 degrees under partly cloudy skies. At this point in time, it appears that same cold front that will affect the area on Sunday may get hung up just to the south on Monday, so there still may be a chance for a few storms Monday afternoon and evening. We will continue to keep you posted through the work week and into the weekend.
