The high heat and humidity that has scorched the Midwest (yesterday Minneapolis broke records when it peaked at 103°) moves overhead.

Today: Very Hot & Humid

Highs: Upper 90s | Feels Like: 100°-105°

Overnight: Warm & Very Muggy

Lows: 70s | Feels Like: 80s

Tomorrow: Another Steambath

Highs: Upper 90s | Feels Like: 100°-105°

A strong Bermuda high will pump hot, moisture laden air into the area pushing the mercury into the upper 90s. The “feels like” temperature will be between 100° and 105° therefore a Heat Advisory will go into effect at Noon and run through 8pm. Records at the local airports could fall today and some possible again tomorrow as the pattern will repeat itself again.

Friday a cold front approaches bringing added clouds and the chance for a few storms. This may hold temperatures back in the lower 90s. Temperatures will slip back into the 80s for the weekend, with a daily threat of thunderstorms. Take it easy it out there and have a great day.
