A frontal system will move towards the region today bringing with it the chance for showers and storms. A few storms may be severe with large hail and damaging winds. Otherwise expect mostly cloudy skies with highs in the lower 80s. Tonight will be partly cloudy and mild with lows in the 60s.
Friday, another chance for showers and storms will be possible in the afternoon hours as the area of low pressure continues to hang around the Mid Atlantic. Temperatures will be warmer in the mid to upper 80s.
The weekend ahead will feature partly cloudy skies Saturday with highs in the upper 80s. Sunday there will be another chance for showers and storms in the afternoon with highs again in the upper 80s.
