The heat and humidity will remain across the region today, with highs around the 90 degree mark and dew points in the 70s making for very uncomfortable conditions. Scattered showers and storms will be possible with some storms possibly becoming severe with large hail and damaging winds. Tonight, a few storms will linger before coming to an end later tonight. Lows will be in the 70s under partly cloudy skies.
Thursday will be very comparable to today with highs again around the 90 degree mark with the chance for afternoon storms. Friday will continue to have a chance for storms with highs around 90 degrees. The cold front is expected to be south and east of the D.C. area on Saturday, slightly cooling the air into the upper 80s but more importantly dropping humidity levels for the start of the weekend.
