Storms possible this afternoon, big changes for tomorrow
This Afternoon: Partly Cloudy, Scattered Storms
Highs: Around 90 | Wind: SW 4-8 m.p.h.
Overnight: Partly Cloudy, Becoming Less Humid
Lows: 60s | Wind: NW 5-10 m.p.h.
Wednesday: Mostly Sunny, Less Humid
Highs: Mid 80s | Wind: NW 10-15 m.p.h.
An approaching cold front will increase the chance for thunderstorms this afternoon with a few potentially becoming severe with large hail and damaging winds. Highs should be around the 90 degree mark under mostly sunny skies ahead of the front. Tonight will be mostly clear and becoming less humid with lows in the 60s.
Wednesday and Thursday will be much more comfortable and a bit cooler with highs in the low to mid 80s under mostly sunny skies. Dew points are expected to drop into the 50s (scroll down) over the next couple of days so the comfort will be more than welcome.
Friday into the holiday weekend, the heat will return with highs back around 90 degrees Friday and into the low to mid 90s Saturday and Sunday. There also appears like there will be a chance for a few storms Sunday or on the 4th of July Monday but we will be watching this very closely and keep you updated throughout the week.
