The heat and humidity will continue to headline our weather as high pressure shifts to the east and southerly winds act to pump in the summer-like heat and humidity. Much like yesterday sunshine will be abundant as daytime highs jump into the low 90s.

Wednesday through Friday the “heat pump” known as the Bermuda high will kick into high gear pushing daytime highs well into the upper 90s accompanied by dewpoints around 70 degrees. This will make for heat indices from 100 to 105 at times. By Friday a cold front will head out way providing the next best chance at some widespread rain.
