What a treat – the final day of June with NO humidity and blue (non hazy) skies. Consider it a gift as highs top out in the mid 80s making for a very comfortable afternoon. Overnight temperatures dip into the 60s under clear skies. July kicks off tomorrow with a bit hotter air, but humidity will remain in check another day. Afternoon readings will peak near 90 degrees.

Heat and humidity creep back in for the long holiday weekend with highs in the 90s. There is a slight risk for an isolated storm or two Sunday but nothing too widespread. At this point Independence Day will be hot and sticky but dry. Enjoy this awesome day and get ready for the weekend heat wave!
