A frontal boundary will remain across the region the next few days, bringing the chance for afternoon storms along with temperatures that won’t be quite as hot. Highs today should only reach the lower 90s under partly cloudy skies. The best chance for storms will be later this afternoon and evening. Tonight, any storms will come to an end and lows will range from the upper 60s to lower 70s. There could be a few areas of patchy fog.
For the weekend ahead, highs should reach the upper 80s each day under partly cloudy skies. As the front stays stalled across the area, the chance for showers and storms will remain. Storm chances should be in the afternoon Saturday and around midday Sunday. If you are heading to the beaches, check here for more information.
