Too cool tonight?
Overnight: Mostly Clear Comfortable and Bright
Lows: 52-60 | Wind: NW 5-10
Tomorrow Morning: Mostly Sunny Cool
Temperatures: Near 60 | Air Quality: Blue skies - Good
Tomorrow Afternoon: Cloudy and a few showers possible (20% chance)
Highs: Near 80 | Rain: More Likely North of DC
The delightful dry air mass is now over us and will stay for a few days. There is a weak wave in the atmosphere (our air is a fluid just like the ocean) to our north that will be swinging across the area tomorrow. Even with low humidity, the warm air at the surface and chilly air 2-4 miles up will be enough to cause plenty of clouds to form by mid-morning. It now looks like any showers may be more likely to the east of the DC metro area but we may see some here mid-day. Overall though the comfortable pattern at the surface, where we live, will continue into the late week - unlike last week where we had our first 100 June day in many years . . . and 100 earlier than Dallas, Texas
