An disturbance will keep added clouds around on this Monday as the heat and humidity return.

Monday: Few Lt. Showers Early; Warmer & More Humid; Isolated PM Storm

Highs: Mid - Upper 80s | Wind: SE 5-10

Overnight: Partly Cloudy & Muggy

Lows: Around 70 | Wind: Light SE

Tuesday: Hot & Humid; Showers & Storms Especially Late

Highs: Near 90 | Wind: S 5-10

An upper level disturbance will continue to rotate through the region this morning producing a few light and scattered showers across parts of the region early this morning. Clouds will be a bit stubborn to break but I do believe that we will see some sunshine later today accompanied by higher heat and humidity. It’s possible that an isolated storm may try to develop in the heat and humidity later this afternoon/evening but the emphasis should be on the word isolated.

Conditions remain muggy and mild during the overnight as under partly cloudy skies out temperatures fall off only to around 70 degrees.

Tuesday will feature heat and humidity with partly sunny skies overhead through much of the day as highs head to near 90. A cold front will push through later in the day Tuesday making showers and storms possible during the afternoon but more likely late in the day.

High pressure will move back into place for the second half of the week before the heat, humidity, and threat of afternoon thunderstorms returns in time for the weekend.
