Even after few storms developed this afternoon, the chance remains tonight and into the next couple of days.

Overnight: Partly Cloudy, Warm & Muggy

Lows: 70s | Wind: S 5 m.p.h.

Thursday: Partly Sunny, Hot & Humid, PM Storms

Highs: Around 90 | Wind: SW 5-10 m.p.h.

Friday: Partly Sunny, Hot & Humid, PM Storms

Highs: Around 90 | Wind: SW 5-10 m.p.h.

Showers and storms really haven't been a big issue today with a thin veil of high clouds helping rob some instability from the region this afternoon. Highs still have been hot around the 90 degree mark through the afternoon with plenty of humidity to go along with it. There will still be the chance for a few isolated storms tonight with lows in the 70s.

Thursday will feature partly cloudy skies, hot and humid conditions, and an additional chance for showers and thunderstorms. Highs should again reach the 90 degree mark. A cold front is expected to pass through the region Friday bringing one last chance for storms for the work week with highs around 90 degrees.

The weekend ahead should start out a bit cooler and more comfortable with highs in the mid to upper 80s under partly cloudy skies. Dew points should fall behind the front which will help make it a bit easier to get outdoors this weekend.
