An area of low pressure located over the Central Plains will move east through the week. Ahead of the low a warm front is expected to pass through the region tonight and into tomorrow which will help increase the heat for much of the week. The area is currently experiencing a weak area of low pressure which will move off the east coast today. Morning showers will give way to some clearing this afternoon with highs in the low 80s. Tonight, isolated showers will be possible by the early morning hours with lows in the 60s.
A few showers may linger into tomorrow morning before clearing tomorrow afternoon. Highs will be much warmer around 90 degrees. Wednesday will be hot and humid with a chance for thunderstorms with highs in the mid 90s. Thursday will see more of the same with highs in the lower 90s under partly cloudy skies. The low pressure and frontal system should pass through the area on Friday, bringing one more chance for storms with highs around 90 degrees.
