High temperatures will approach and may even surpass the 100 degree mark later this week. Very dangerous heat and heat indicies will be likely.

This Afternoon: Mostly Sunny, Hot

Highs: Low 90s | Wind: SW 5 m.p.h.

Overnight: Mostly Clear, Muggy, Iso. T-Storm

Lows: 70s | Wind: SW 5 m.p.h.

Tuesday: Mostly Sunny, T-Storms Possible

Highs: Low 90s | Wind: SW 4-8 m.p.h.

A cold front will move towards the region today, but shouldn’t reach the region until the overnight hours. Ahead of it, expect mostly sunny skies today along with highs in the lower 90s. Tonight will be partly cloudy, warm and muggy with lows in the 70s. A few storms are possible overnight as the cold front approaches from the northwest. A better chance for storms exists through the day on Tuesday as the front moves through the region. Expect highs in the lower 90s under partly cloudy skies otherwise.

The heat will increase Wednesday through the end of the work week with highs in the mid 90s Wednesday and approaching the 100 degree mark Thursday through Saturday. The combination of heat and humidity will make for dangerous heat through the end of the week and into the weekend, so please try to limit your time outdoors.
