The dangerous heat and humidity will be over us for several days. An "excessive" (not sure what non-excessive is) Heat Warning is up for Thursday, Friday and will probably also be issued for Saturday. Heat indices will be 105-110+. Here is a link about what the heat index means. The next "break" won't come until a risk of thunderstorms Monday and then a bit cooler air will be in our area for late Monday and Tuesday.
