Expect a drier start to your morning with continued hot and muggy conditions for another day. Highs will top out in the low 90s with the threat for a couple of hefty thunderstorms by later this afternoon and evening. Overnight showers taper off with lows in the 70s. Tomorrow may start off with a little sun but clouds will quickly increase with off and on showers and storms likely throughout the day as an area of tropical moisture moves up the east coast. Highs will be held back in the 80s due to the rain.
Some of the rain could linger into early Saturday but the front should move out in time to set the stage for a nice weekend. The weekend ahead will feature clearing skies and warmer temperatures back around the 90 degree mark. Expect ample sunshine and dry conditions through the remainder of the weekend.
