The comfort factor goes up today and tomorrow as humdidty goes down.

Tuesday: Plenty Of Sunshine; Less Humid But Still Hot

Highs: Low 90s | Wind: WNW 5-10

Overnight: Mostly Clear Skies

Lows: Upper 60s - Low 70s | Wind: Variable 5-10

Wednesday: Mostly Sunny; Hot But Still Not Humid

Highs: Around 90 | Wind: NNW 5-10

Humidity levels will continue to drop throughout the day today as northwest winds usher in some welcome and noticeably drier air. Sunshine will be abundant today and given the that the sun angle is still strong this time of the year we will still reach into the low 90s by this afternoon.

Another pleasantly warm day can be expected Wednesday as well with relatively low humidity.

For the second half of the week high pressure will shift to our east allowing for southerly winds to bring back the heat and humidity. While this doesn’t look to be an exact repeat of last week we could see highs near 100 degrees and perhaps break or tie the record high of 99 degrees set in 1996. Additionally, the heat index values will once again reach between 100 and 105 degrees.
