High pressure has moved overhead and looks to call the D.C. area home for the next couple of days.

This Afternoon: Sunny and Pleasant

Highs: Mid 80s | Wind: N 8-12 m.p.h.

Overnight: Clear and Comfortable

Lows: Upper 50s to lower 60s | Wind: N 5 m.p.h.

Friday: Sunny and Nice

Highs: Mid 80s | Wind: S 4-8 m.p.h.

High pressure has settled overhead and sunny skies along with cooler and more comfortable conditions can be expected today. Highs should reach the mid 80s. Tonight will be clear and comfy with lows in the upper 50s in the suburbs to lower 60s inside the beltway. Friday will see more of the same with highs in the mid 80s under sunny skies. The weekend ahead will feature slightly warmer temperatures with highs in the mid to upper 80s Saturday, and into the upper 80s on Sunday. Humidity values will also begin to increase a bit Saturday before becoming more noticeable Sunday.
