Well, we have truly been spoiled over the past couple of days but things are about to get hot and humid just in time for the long Holiday weekend. As for today expect mostly sunny skies on this Friday with high temperatures a bit warmer today reaching near or around 90 degrees.
Winds will begin to shift during the overnight tonight and become more southerly. This will allow for a return of the higher humidity levels that have been unseasonably low for late June and now early July.
Saturday still looks dry but it will be noticeably more humid and certainly hotter as highs climb into the low 90s and dew points jump back into the 60s.
The highest heat and humidity will be in place Sunday with temperatures topping out in the mid-90s. This means that the heat index, or the feels like factor, could be between 100-104 degrees.
The fourth of July forecast remains unchanged featuring partly sunny skies, hot and humid conditions with a chance of a few isolated PM storms.
The heat and humidity look to remain locked in place into early next week with a low end chance of PM showers or storms but not widespread.
~ Have a good day!
