The heat and humidity remained across the D.C. area today with highs around the 90 degree mark under mostly sunny skies. A few storms have popped up south of town and towards the beaches, but they should diminish after sunset. Tonight, expect mostly clear skies with lows around the 70 degree mark.
Tomorrow will feature more of the same weather, but a slightly better chance for showers and storms with the highest probability for storms in the mountains. Thursday, afternoon thunderstorms appear like they will be more numerous in coverage with highs still around the 90 degree mark. Friday will bring one last chance for storms before high pressure settles in for the weekend.
