A few added clouds may help keep our region a bit cooler today, but when I say cooler, I mean lower 90s.

This Afternoon: Partly Sunny, Hot & Humid

Highs: Low 90s | Wind: S 5-10 m.p.h.

Overnight: Partly Cloudy, Warm

Lows: 70s | Wind: S 5 m.p.h.

Friday: Partly Cloudy, HOT & Humid

Highs: Near 100 | Wind: SW 5-10 m.p.h.

A few added clouds will be streaming into the region through the remainder of the day, helping to keep temperatures a couple degrees cooler than they could be, only reaching the lower 90s this afternoon. In addition, a few showers will be possible as well as a weak disturbance moves through the area this afternoon and evening. Tonight, any showers will come to an end and skies will be partly cloudy with lows in the 70s.

Friday is a very hot way to end the work week, with highs near the 100 degree mark under partly cloudy skies. A weak frontal zone will begin to affect the region Friday and Saturday bringing a slight chance for an isolated storm. Saturday will continue to be hot and humid with highs in the mid 90s. Sunday should continue the stretch of 90 degree days (Reagan National currently stands at 11 in a row) with highs in the lower 90s under partly cloudy skies.
