The oppressive heat and humdity covers much of the East.  The worst today waas in the upper Midwest with Minneapolis seeing a heat index of almost 115 with dew points in the 70s.  Tomorrow a weak weather front may trigger some afternoon thunderstorms but then Wednesday into Saturday the searing midwest heat moves east so it is likely our heat index may reach 110 by Saturday.  Dangerous heat so just take it easy and plenty of water.
