High pressure will provide quiet and pleasant weather today through Wednesday featuring plenty of sunshine, virtually no humidity and highs in the low – mid 80s. Our next weather system, a cold front, will push into the region Thursday producing partly cloudy skies, warmer temperatures, increased humidity, and a chance of a few PM thundershowers. The long range forecast over the weekend and even into Monday will be greatly dependent upon the exact track of what is currently Hurricane Irene. It’s far too early to try to speculate what the exact impacts may be from this system but details will be ironed out during the week once we get a bit closer.
~ Have a good day!
