The storm system impacting our region continues to pull up the eastern seaboard today, ensuring more sunshine and similar temperatures. There will be a refreshing wind out of the northwest which will gust from at times up to 25mph. Shower chances are more limited to near 20% of the area later today, and should be confined to areas north and west of the city. High pressure builds in for Wednesday with seasonable highs in the upper 80s and lots of sunshine.
The back half of the week features a more typical August “feel” with highs near 90° and added humidity. Thursday and Friday both feature a daily isolated threat for an afternoon storm. The upcoming weekend continues the muggy and very warm conditions. Have a great day!
