It’s the middle of August and the weather could not be better…that’s assuming you have had your fill of 100 degree days and Excessive Heat Warnings. High pressure is building into the area and in the process, all kinds of cool cloud formations are floating by along with a fresh breeze and a couple sprinkles. Skies will gradually clear tonight and skies will be mostly sunny tomorrow. High temperatures for the next 5 or 6 days will be in the upper 80s.
On Thursday, humidity levels will start to rise and there is a good chance for afternoon thunderstorms. The same holds true for Friday as a cold front crosses the mid-Atlantic. Our weekend outlook calls for partly cloudy skies with highs approaching the 90 degree mark in spots. There is a slight chance for thunderstorms by Sunday evening. But for the most part, the weather should be ideal for outdoor activities all weekend long, locally and at the beaches.
