High pressure will continue to dominate the region today making for mostly sunny skies and warm temperatures in the mid to upper 80s. Tonight will be mostly clear and comfortable with lows in the 60s. The weekend ahead will feature an area of low pressure that will move in from the Plains by Saturday night and Sunday morning. Saturday will feature partly cloudy skies and warm temperatures with highs in the mid to upper 80s. Humidity values will be back up as more moisture moves in ahead of the system. A few afternoon and evening storms are possible Saturday but the majority of the heavy rain and thunderstorms should hold off until Saturday night and Sunday morning. Sunday will have the chance for showers and storms throughout the day with highs in the low to mid 80s.
